RESPONSIBILITIES:
• CONTAINER HANDLING:
As per create a booking,as per vessel visit ref. ,pre advice to system by copran file , create allocation into yard
Put rtg,rmg ,or rs[reachstacker] to stack as per next port of disch. These are export- import we have to load edi file to load system[patch if any] then create as per the allocation. Restow if any to advice to system create restow. Vessel planning – to follow chief officer and stack weight as per our system no voileations. To co-ordinate gate operations.
• ‘ON-BOARD OPERATIONS’:
Monitoring ‘On-Board’ operations of on a regular basis and on RORO vessels and other Container Vessels as requirements arise.
• CONTAINER FREIGHT STATIONS:
Conversant with all container related operations in the Stacking Yard including Port wise Container Stacking, Container De-Stuffing & Stuffing at CFS (Container Fright Station).
• CUSTOMS & STATUTORY FORMALITIES:
Adept in handling Customs and Port Establishment related formalities including boarding clearance, obtaining “certificate of health & Sanitary inspection” from Port authorities,
• LABOUR MANAGEMENT:
Highly competent in Manpower Management, Time Management and Performance Control including unleashing and leashing of containers and directing gantry cranes, ship crane and mobile crane operators for appropriate loading and unloading.
• TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT:
Directing the entire transportation at birthing area and onward to the yard.
