  • Development of conversion design with Marine Structure Consultants for lengthening conversion of DSV Rockwater 2.
  • Responsible for design of new vessel systems for the conversion, selecting new equipment, selection of vendors, overseeing procurement and maintaining delivery schedules of new equipment to meet the schedule milestones.
  • Development of complete specification for shipyard comprising prefabrication work, vessel conversion, shipyard negotiations, installation of new equipment and systems, drydocking and repair items and overall budget.
  • Supervision of lengthening, equipment installation, drydocking, vessel repairs, cost control, HSE and schedule.  The converted vessel was redelivered on time under budget.

  • Supervision and introduction of (3) newbuild Vela single hulled VLCC’s delivering from Odense Lindo, Denmark into Vela fleet. 
  • Supervision and introduction of (4) newbuild NSCSA double hulled VLCC’s delivering from MHI Nagasaki, Japan into NSCSA fleet.  Duties included:
    • Drydocking of VLCC’s
    • Repair of Asphalt Carrier with asphalt flooded pumproom.
