Currently Heading a Moroccan Shipping and Freight Forwarding company based in Casablanca and before heading the Dry Bulk & Tankers operation services of OCP Group (one of the biggest exporters of Phosphates & Fertilizers in the world), I expertly direct a team of 20 employees, managing and monitoring a 1200 ships per year (75% Dry Bulk 25% Tankers). I manage the full maritime operations process (Chart Party terms update / vessels post fixture / Disbursement accounts management / Laytime analysis and calculation / Freight & claims billing and approval / claims & disputes management). I manage directly 4 ports maritime agencies (Casablanca, Jorf Lasfar, Safi and Laâyoune). Meanwhile, I assumed different levels of responsibilities including General Management during 11 years (General Management, Ship chandelling, trade Liner, Fret Marketing & sales, port operations & services, Branch office management, Business process improvement and Business development).    

My main achievements are a setup of an efficient cost control process and Logistic revenue optimization basis on proactivity.

  • Comprehensive operations background (Maersk, Hanjin and OCP), I have revised shift schedules and directed the loading and unloading of shipments, successfully instituting operations that are effective, efficient and streamlined.
    • Demurrage & Lay-time Analysis Management
  • As a keen negotiator, I work with port third-party providers to ensure timely service delivery at competitive costs.
  • Strong and extensive knowledge of worldwide Maritime law and rules (Liners & bulkers)
  • Trainer skills in Shipping & Maritime.
