The U.S. The Interior and Energy Departments are holding a conference call on Thursday to discuss the 'potential' of energy companies such as Exxon & Chevron in boosting oil and gas production.

The White House is organizing the call, which will be led by Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. Politico was the first to report on this call.
Taylor Rogers, White House spokesperson, didn't confirm the specific call, but she said that the two secretaries were in constant contact with oil and gas executives.
Rogers replied in an email that "Since the first day, the President has been calling on companies to DRILL BABY DRILL."
