Schedule for US Energy Data in the week of Nov. 9
The Veterans Day federal holiday, which falls on Tuesday 11 November, will impact the schedule for the release of major energy data during the week beginning November 9.
The schedule below shows the weekly release of the U.S. Petroleum, Oil and Natural Gas Supply and Inventory.
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has posted the following note on website https://www.eia.gov/pressroom/ regarding the federal government shutdown: "EIA is continuing normal publication schedules and data collection until further notice."
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 9:
AMERICAN PETROLEUM INDSTITUTE – OIL
API's Weekly Petroleum Stocks Report will be delayed until Wednesday, November 12 at 4:30 pm EST (2130 GMT). Reports are normally released every Tuesday.
OIL ENERGY ADMINISTRATION
The EIA will delay its weekly report on crude oil, gasoline, and distillate stocks until Thursday, November 13 at 12 noon EST (1700 GMT). The report would normally be released on Wednesday, 10:30 am EST (1530 GMT).
Natural Gas - ENERGY ADMINISTRATION
The EIA will delay its weekly report on natural gas inventories until Friday, November 14th at 10:30 am EST (1530 GMT). Normally, the report is released on Thursday.
NOTES:
API delays its Weekly Statistical Bulletin if a federal holiday occurs on a Tuesday or Monday. The schedule is not affected by holidays later in the week. The schedule can be found at

EIA's Natural Gas Storage Report schedule (posted at http://ir.eia.gov/ngs/schedule.html) is as follows:
Released Thursday at 1030 ET for Monday or Friday holidays
Released on Friday, 1030 ET for Tuesday or Wednesday holidays
Released Wednesday, 1200 ET.
