Schedule for US Energy Data in Holiday Week

The Memorial Day federal holiday, which falls on Monday, 25th May?will impact the release schedule for?some of the major energy data that will be released during 'the week of May 24?.

Here is the schedule for the weekly release of U.S. oil, gas and petroleum supply.

WEEK OF 24 MAY

AMERICAN PETROLEUM INDSTITUTE – OIL

API's Weekly Petroleum Stocks Report will be?delayed to Wednesday, 27th May at 4:30 pm EDT (2030 GMT). Reports are normally released every Tuesday.

ENERGY INFO ADMINISTRATION:?NATURAL GASS

The EIA will release its weekly report on natural gas stocks as usual, Thursday, May 28th at 10:30 am EDT (1430 GMT).

OIL ENERGY ADMINISTRATION

The EIA will delay its?weekly stock report on crude oil, gasoline, and distillate until Thursday, May 28, at Noon EDT (1600 GMT). The report would normally be released on Wednesday, 10:30 am EDT (1430 GMT).

NOTES:

API?delays the Weekly Statistical Bulletin if a federal holiday falls between Monday and Tuesday. Holidays that fall later in the week will not affect the schedule. The schedule can be found at

EIA's ?Natural Gas Storage Report ?schedule (posted at http://ir.eia.gov/ngs/schedule.html) is ?as follows:

Released Thursday at 1030 ET for Monday or Friday holidays

Released on Friday, 1030 ET for Tuesday or Wednesday holidays

Released Wednesday, 1200 ET.
