Petroperu Tenders to Buy Latin American Crude
State-run Petroperu launched a tender to buy a 360,000 barrel cargo of a Latin American crude to be received May 26-30 at its Talara and Conchan ports, a document seen by Reuters says.
Previously this month, Petroperu offered to buy one cracked naphtha cargo, two biodiesel cargoes and six ULSD cargoes for delivery from May to June. The company bought a similar cargo of a Latin American crude in November.
For this tender, the company is looking for a seller of Ecuadorian Napo or Oriente crudes, Venezuelan Lago Treco, Mesa 30, Leona 24 or Santa Barbara, Colombian Cano Limon, Vasconia, South Blend or Castilla, Argentine Canadon Seco or Escalante and Brazilian Roncador 28, Marlim or Bijupira.
Similar Latin American grades, blends or West African crudes could also be accepted, the company added. It will receive bids until April 21 and they must indexed to WTI or Brent prices.
