New Hires Boost RCG US Team

The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG), has announced the appointment of several new hires in its New York office to support the accelerating offshore wind market in the United States and renewable energy projects worldwide. The experienced personnel include AJ Negrelli, Emily Kuhn, and Craig Hutchinson.

Negrelli is a respected project manager and engineer with practical experience delivering offshore wind construction projects, working for the major wind turbine supplier Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Negrelli was deputy construction project manager of the recently completed 574 MW Race Bank project in the United Kingdom. Negrelli earned his BSc/BS in Civil Engineering at The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, and his MSc/MS in Engineering/Industrial Management at The Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Negrelli will support clients in project planning, supply chain analysis, independent engineering, and technical advisory.

Kuhn is a renewable energy legislative affairs and policy expert, working most recently as a strategy analyst with the New York Power Authority (NYPA) and prior to that in Federal legislative affairs at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). She has developed policy strategy for large-scale renewables, energy storage, electric vehicle infrastructure and microgrid projects. Kuhn earned her BA in Environmental Management, and her Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Indiana University. She will assist clients in navigating the US market through management consulting, strategy, and market intelligence assignments.

Hutchinson is a highly experienced health, safety and environmental expert with 15 years’ experience in the wind industry. He served as HSE manager on multiple European offshore wind projects for major wind turbine supplier, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind (previously Vestas Offshore). Hutchinson then joined international offshore wind developer and operator, Ørsted, working on numerous projects including the 1200 MW Hornsea One development as lead HSE manager. Prior to his career in wind power, Hutchinson served for over 20 years in the United States Airforce. He recently returned to the US and will work with clients to deliver safe, successful renewables projects onshore and offshore.
