Siemens Gamesa Firms Belgian Offshore Wind Project

Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) received the order for the 487 MW SeaMade offshore wind power project in Belgium from customer Seamade NV.The wind turbines and services provider said that it includes supply and commissioning of 58 units of the SG 8.0-167 DD offshore wind turbine and a 17-year Service agreement.

Serbia's First Large-scale Wind Farm to Start in October

Belgian renewable energy firm Elicio NV said on Friday its 42 megawatt (MW) Alibunar wind farm in northern Serbia will start operating in October and help the Balkan country diversify its energy mix and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.The wind farm, which has 21 wind turbines provided by German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion, is the first large-scale farm to connect on Serbia's grid.

Vestas, the world's top wind turbine manufacturer, said Thursday it was "pleased" the final U.S. tax bill retains a phase-out of production tax credits, after concerns over the bill had shaved almost a quarter of its share price. Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Tuesday it had received a 26 megawatt turbine order for a wind project in Sweden. The order was for eight units of the V112-3.3 MW turbine for the Kungsbacka-Iglasjon wind power plant, Vestas said in a press release. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five year service agreement, Vestas said.

Denmark's Vestas Gets 126 MW Order in Thailand

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Tuesday it had received a 126 megawatt turbine order from a project in Thailand. The order from Had Kanghan Wind Farm project is for 70 units of the V110-1.8 MW turbine, including delivery, installation, commissioning and a five-year service agreement, Vestas said in a stock exchange announcement.

Vestas Bags U.S. Wind Farm Contract

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Thursday it had received a service agreement covering the 102 megawatt Coram Wind Project in California. Agreement is with Renewable Energy Trust Capital and the Coram project consists 34 units of the V90-3.0 megawatt turbines. The value of the contract was not disclosed. Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Wednesday it had received a 40 megawatt turbine order for a wind project in India. The order was for 20 units of the V110-2.0 MW turbine for the Khambaliya Wind Farm project in India, Vestas said in a press release on its website. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five year service agreement, Vestas said.

Vestas Receives a 50 MW Turbine Order in Uruguay

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Monday it had received a 50 megawatt turbine order for a wind project in Uruguay. The order was for 15 units of the V117-3.3 MW turbine for the Florida II project in Uruguay's region of Florida, Vestas said in a press release. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 10-year service agreement.

Vestas Gets 149 MW Onshore Order in Germany

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems received a 148.5 megawatt turbine order for wind projects onshore in Germany, EnBW said in a press release Tuesday.   The order was for 45 units of the V126-3.3 MW turbine for locations around Germany. Vestas to Supply 15 Turbines for Italian Wind Park

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Monday it had received an order to supply 15 turbines for a wind park in Italy from Alisea SRL, a unit of German trading group BayWa AG .
