B ulgarian nuclear power plant Kozloduy reconnected its 1,000 megawatt reactor to the national power grid after it fixed a technical fault at the unit's generator, it said on Saturday. The state-owned plant, situated on the Danube River in northwestern Bulgaria, said it has replaced a controller which has defaulted and triggered the automatic shutdown of the unit late on Friday. Bulgaria's nuclear power plant Kozloduy shut down one of its two 1,000 megawatt units late on Friday after a technical fault but there was no threat of radioactive contamination, the nuclear regulator said.
