Documents show that Indonesia's Pertamina wants to increase Oct gasoil and jet fuel deliveries.

Pertamina, Indonesia, is seeking to purchase 1.2 million barrels of jet fuel and gasoil with a sulphur content of 2500ppm via two spot bids.

The bid for jet fuel closed at 1400 local, while the bid for gasoil ended at 1000 local (0300 GMT).

The two tenders have been issued by Pertamina Patra Niaga, the trading arm of the company. They are valid until October 6.

Yesterday, the refiner concluded a tender for the purchase of 1.1 million barrels gasoil. Some traders claimed that they purchased less than they needed.

Gasoil is looking for five 200,000 barrel cargoes to be delivered to Tuban and Tanjung Uban on October 9-26. It also wants one 100,000 barrel cargo to be delivered to Jakarta on the 22-24.

Pertamina wants to purchase 100,000 barrels of jet fuel for delivery in Jakarta between October 22-24.

Pertamina Niaga did respond immediately to a comment request.

Tender records indicate that the company requested 10ppm gasoil in July via an open tender.

The Dumai refinery in Taiwan also experienced a fire on October 1. A spokesperson for the company said that refinery operations continued as usual, although traders reported that crude production had been reduced slightly over the past two weeks.
