Automation Technician

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of Marine Engineering
• Knowledge of Codesys
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

 Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation Systems or in a related field of study.

Job Summary: 

TESS is an industry leader servicing the Mega Yacht Industry. We are seeking Automation Technicians to repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems used within marine industry to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency.  
The position will be Monday through Friday and is a full-time position, with benefits such as a flexible schedule, health benefits and vacation time. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Designing and installing electrical control systems.
• Programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Troubleshooting electrical problems in automated systems.
• Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment: Electrical engineers maintain, and repair electrical equipment used in automation systems.
• Conducting electrical safety inspections.
