Ultra Deep Solutions Orders New HD ROV

Flash Tekk, an agent of subsea support service provider Ultra Deep Solutions (UDS), has secured a new contract  for one HD ROV from manufacturer FMC Technologies Schilling Robotics. The 4,000-meter rated HD system will be delivered and will mobilize in December 2015.

UDS recently announced the new build vessel with Marin Teknikk. The new vessel will feature a MT6023 design with an 18-man, single bell sat dive spread. Vessel specifications are 111.58 meters LOA, 23-metres beam, grade two DP, 120 beds, 150-metric-ton crane rated to 3,000 msw, plus 300 msw rated 10-ton crane, and facilities to host the work-class ROVs.
