Poland's PGE awards $1 bln Power Plant Contract
Poland's largest utility PGE has signed agreements with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe, Polish construction firm Budimex, and Spain's Tecnicas Reunidas to build a new power unit at the Turow power plant.
PGE said in a statement the net value of the agreement was 3.25 billion zlotys ($1.07 billion), and that the unit should take 56 months to build. ($1 = 3.0410 Polish Zlotys)
