Naftogaz, Ukraine's gas producer, says that the Russian attack has damaged its production facilities.

Ukraine's Energy Minister said that Russian forces had targeted Ukraine's gas and energy infrastructure with their latest drones and missile attacks, which took place on Friday.

In a Facebook post, Energy Minister German Galushchenko stated that "once again the energy and gas infrastructure of various regions in Ukraine have been subjected to massive missile and drone attacks."

Rescuers and engineers work to minimize the effects. "All necessary measures are taken to stabilise the power and gas supply," he said.

In a press release, Naftogaz said that the attack had damaged its natural gas production plants.

"Production installations that ensure gas production have been damaged. Naftogaz reported that there were no fatalities via Telegram.

Viacheslav Nehoda, Ternopil governor, said that the attack was on a vital industrial facility in western Ternopil and announced the possibility of gas supply limits. In a Telegram post, Viacheslav Nehoda said that Ukraine's air defense shot down a rocket and no casualties were reported.

According to Oleh Simiehubov, the governor of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine, Russian forces have struck a civilian business and injured at least 5 people.

According to Viacheslav Chaus, the governor of Chernihiv in the north, an attack has damaged one of its production facilities. He did not give any additional details.

Svitlana Onieshchuk, the governor of Ivano-Frankivsk's western region, claimed that the air defence had foiled an attack on infrastructure. She reported that there were no casualties or damage.

In recent months, Russia has intensified its attacks against Ukrainian gas production and storage fields and facilities. Previously, it had focused its drone and missile attacks on the Ukrainian electric sector.
