Hampco Announces Key UK Appointment

Multi-discipline technical services and equipment provider Hampco announced a key appointment in the U.K.

Hampco has been supporting international drilling since its inception in 1988 and services include solving challenges in rig and drilling systems around the world using knowledge and experience from a drilling contractor’s perspective.  The company is headed by Andy Grieve and, whilst the focus of international growth for the company is Houston, Texas the company remains headquartered in his native Aberdeen, Scotland.

In a bid to service the needs of a growing international client base, the company has appointed Steve Hanna to the role of technical manager.  Based in the U.K, Steve’s broad, global remit will include the management of technical personnel and technical authority for designs, as well as working closely with the company’s sales teams to ensure effective communication with clients.

Steve’s extensive experience of more than 20 years has been gained in a variety of engineering and technical roles.
