USA/IRAN: U.S. president Donald Trump announced a two-week truce with Iran on Tuesday, just two hours before the deadline he set for Tehran to reopen Strait of Hormuz. Otherwise, he would have attacked its civilian infrastructure. Alstom, the train maker, announced on Tuesday that it had extended by five years its contract for the operation and maintenance of Hartsfield-Jackson?International Airport's shuttle system. The contract is valued at approximately 140 million euros ($162million). French utility Engie has announced new battery storage projects worth nearly 400 megawatts in Europe. These include two projects with a combined capacity of 278 megawatts in Spain, and a 110 megawatt facility in France. Construction will begin in 2027, and the project is expected to be completed in 2028. French poultry group LDC announced a full-year revenue exceeding the 7 billion euro goal originally set for 2026-2027. It also said that it expects to surpass its core profit target of more than 560 millions euros. TECHNIP: French energy infrastructure company Technip Energies has won a contract for the continuation of work on the Commonwealth LNG Export Terminal project in Louisiana, ahead of the final investment decision.
