Avenir LNG in Brazilian Pact with Golar Power

Small-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplier Avenir LNG announced that it will collaborate with the Bermuda-registered Golar Power in developing the small-scale LNG market in Brazil.Avenir’s second 7,500 cbm LNG Carrier will be used to deliver LNG to various ports across Brazil upon delivery. Energean Seeks to Pipe Karish Gas to Cyprus

Energean Oil & Gas said on Tuesday its Energean International unit submitted an application to import and supply natural gas to Cyprus starting in 2021.In its application to Cypriot authorities, it said it sought to supply gas through a pipeline from the Karish block offshore Israel to Vassiliko, Cyprus.The pipeline would be 215 kilometers long and transport natural gas from the Karish North field, which contains 25 billion cubic meters of discovered recoverable resources.Total investment, Energean said, will be about $350 million and will be funded by Energean.

A disruption in global oil flows following attacks on Saudi Arabian facilities has left U.S. crude exporters without enough tankers to cover rising demand for cargoes, traders and shipping sources said.Missile attacks last Saturday temporarily cut Saudi oil production by more than 5 million barrels per day, or about half the country's output.That set off a scramble for alternative cargoes of crude, particularly in the United States, which lined up available tankers sailing from the Mediterranean, West Africa and continental Europe to pick up cargoes.

Plans for Israeli Gas Exports to Egypt on Track

Plans to start exporting gas from Israel to Egypt are on track but further steps are still needed before exports can commence, Egyptian petroleum minister Tarek El Molla said on Monday."Everything is agreed on ... countries (involved) have already given their blessings. Brent Oil Prices Rise Above $60

Shelf Drilling Bags Gulf of Thailand Gig

Turkey to Drill Near Cyprus for Three Months
