EIA reports that US crude oil production and petroleum demand increased in June.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), in its Petroleum Supply Monthly Report, published on Tuesday, said that U.S. crude oil output and demand rose during June.

In June, crude oil production increased to 13,79 million barrels per days (bpd), up from 13,76 million bpd. The monthly record high was 14.01 million barrels per day (bpd) in October 2025.

The U.S. crude oil and petroleum product demand grew to 20,74 million bpd by June from 20.07 millions bpd?in May. EIA reported that this is compared to a monthly record high of 21,67?million?bpd?in August 2005.

The U.S. natural gas production in June was 135.5 billion cubic foot per day (bcfd), up from 134.2 in May. However, it remained short of the record monthly high of 136.0 in December 2025.

The EIA reported that in the top-producing gas states, output in June increased 1.3%, reaching a record of 39.2 bcfd, in Texas. However, it fell by 1.0%, to 21.1 bcfd, in Pennsylvania.

This compares to the previous all-time high monthly of 38.9 Bcfd, which was in Texas in April and?the current highest monthly all-time?high? of 21.9 Bcfd?in Pennsylvania in December 2021.
